BRUCE BROUGHTON'S TUBA CONCERTO FEATURED IN 2003 MANCINI MUSICALE HONORING CLINT EASTWOOD

Los Angeles – August 16, 2003 – Composer Bruce Broughton Conducted his composition "Concerto for Tuba (2nd and 3rd movements)" featuring HMI participant Carolyn Jantsch.

This year's Mancini Musicale honored Clint Eastwood and was held at UCLA's Royce Hall. Multi award-winning musician Quincy Jones presented Eastwood with the fourth annual Hank Award for his distinguished service to American Music. This Third Annual Fundraising Gala was hosted by Craig Kilborn and included featured artists such as Diana Krall, Arturo Sandoval, Christian McBride, Alex Acuna, Vinnie Colaiuta and Roger Kellaway.
